Doomsday Infinity Vision tickets pull $16.5M day one — premium-only flex

Avengers Doomsday

Five months out and the tills are already loud. Avengers: Doomsday’s Infinity Vision premium-format pre-sales reportedly cleared about $16.5 million on day one — roughly double Deadpool & Wolverine’s comparable start — on a limited premium-only inventory across ~1,000 theaters.

What Infinity Vision is selling

Marvel’s premium large-format push for a 165-minute December 18 event movie. Trailer one dropped the same morning tickets unlocked. Hall H tonight can still upsell extended footage. Standard formats come later; the early money is all glass and speakers.

December 18 vs Dune: Part Three is going to be a cultural cage match. The advance sales say fans already picked a corner.
