The Bounty Format Explained
Unlike traditional brackets, the BLAST Bounty system assigns a monetary bounty to each team. When an underdog defeats a higher-ranked team, they steal a portion of their opponent’s bounty, leading to incredibly high-stakes matches and unpredictable prize distribution.
The event runs through August 2, featuring top organizations like Vitality, G2 Esports, and FaZe Clan. Early group stage matches have already seen aggressive veto strategies as teams specifically target opponents with the highest bounties on their heads.
