GTA 6 pre-orders are live — November 19 launch locked

Rockstar Games has opened the gates. Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S — Standard at $79.99, Ultimate Edition at $99.99 — with pre-orders live across PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store, and major retailers since June 25.

Ultimate threads exclusive vehicles, weapons, apparel, and story-tied unlocks across Jason and Lucia’s campaign rather than dumping everything at the start. All pre-orders and purchases before November 20 include the Vintage Vice City Pack: a ’55 Vapid Stanier, Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach, decadent outfits/hairstyles for both leads, and a Tommy Vercetti–inspired tropical weapon pattern. Digital pre-orders also get a free month of GTA+.

Pre-load on the 12th — no disc in the box

Digital pre-load begins November 12 at local midnight. Physical editions also arrive November 12 — but Rockstar confirmed the box contains a download code, not a disc, so owners can pre-load the same week. Ultimate is digital-only; Standard physical owners can buy an Ultimate upgrade later.

Trailer 3 still hasn’t dropped. Trailer 2 remains the clearest in-engine look at Leonida. Rockstar skipped State of Play, Summer Game Fest, and the Xbox Showcase — marketing continues on Newswire time, not showcase calendars.
