Alien: Earth Season 2 is filming in London — Dinklage, Ullman, Spruell, Flynn join
The Maginot’s aftermath is already a call sheet. FX confirmed Alien: Earth Season 2 production underway in London, with July casting adds stacking onto a previously announced Peter Dinklage booking: Tracey Ullman, Sam Spruell, and Jerome Flynn join returning lead Sydney Chandler and the Season 1 ensemble under Noah Hawley.
Who is new — and what we do not know
Character names remain TBA. Spruell reunites with Hawley after Fargo Season 5; Flynn (Game of Thrones’ Bronn) pairs with Dinklage as another Westeros alum in the Weyland-Yutani orbit; Ullman’s Emmy pedigree suggests tonal range beyond pure xenomorph panic. Season 1’s full cast — Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Babou Ceesay, and company — is back in the mix per FX rollouts.
Calendar reality check
No premiere date. Trade and fan reporting converge on a 2027 return after a heavy VFX post pipeline — Season 1 premiered August 12, 2025 on FX/Hulu (Disney+ internationally). Expect stylized teasers before a hard day; do not expect a fall 2026 surprise drop.
