Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora lands on PlayStation Plus Extra globally July 21

If you skipped Ubisoft’s trip to Pandora at full price, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium are about to fix that. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora joins the Game Catalog globally on July 21 — the same day Firefighting Simulator: Ignite and a pair of Premium PS2 classics (Psi-Ops, Indigo Prophecy) roll out worldwide.

Why Pandora matters on Plus

Frontiers of Pandora drops you into the Western Frontier as a Na’vi raised by the RDA, then freed into a home that no longer feels like home. First-person traversal, clan politics, and a world built to look like Cameron’s films without requiring a movie ticket. For Extra subscribers, it is one of the bigger open-world catalog adds of 2026.

“Reconnect with your lost heritage, discover what it truly means to be Na’vi, and join other clans to protect Pandora from the RDA.”

The rest of July’s catalog wave

Rise of the Ronin is already available for Extra/Premium in the US and UK (July 15) and Japan (July 16). Later waves in those markets add Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, Dying Light, Citizen Sleeper 2, and Snow Bros. Wonderland around July 28. Sony is still staggering dates by region — check the PlayStation Store tile for your account’s exact unlock.

Reminder: catalog games are not free-to-keep forever like Epic/Prime claims. They stay playable while your Extra or Premium subscription is active. Still — Pandora on July 21 is the headline download for anyone with bandwidth and a weekend.
