Corsair Cove locks July 31 Game Pass day one — pirate city-builder that thinks tall

Build up the cliff face or get hunted by the Crown. Corsair Cove — Limbic Entertainment’s pirate city-builder published by Hooded Horse — locks July 31, 2026 on Steam, Epic, and the Microsoft Store, with day-one PC Game Pass. Wishlist chatter was already north of 180k before the date lock. The pitch is not another flat island grid: it is “think tall.”

What you are actually managing

Vertical settlement design across hilltops and sea cliffs, bridged by lifts and ziplines. More than 50 goods in production chains that climb the rock face — spyglasses to cannons — then ships, raids, and turn-based naval fights against Crown pirate hunters. Two modes and three tropical islands at launch. A free demo already previewed the opening story arcs.

“Build a sprawling pirate haven, raise a fleet to explore the high seas, and take on the Crown to keep the Age of Piracy alive!”

— Corsair Cove Steam store blurb (2026)

Where it sits on the Game Pass conveyor

July 31 is also when Celeste, Crusader Kings 3, and Bannerlord rotate off Game Pass — so drive space is a pirate negotiation all by itself. Corsair Cove is PC-only on the Wave 2 list, sitting between Mistfall Hunter (30) and the early-August Beast of Reincarnation / Heretic + Hexen pair.

Steam page: Corsair Cove.

If your Game Pass queue needed a shanty and a spreadsheet, July 31 is boarding call.
