Dispatch hits Xbox uncensored — Play Anywhere, Cloud, no Switch cuts

The dispatch board is open on green. AdHoc Studio’s Dispatch — the 2025 GOTY-contender superhero workplace comedy from ex-Telltale talent — is live on Xbox Series X|S and the Xbox PC app with the full uncensored eight-episode set, Xbox Play Anywhere save sharing, Cloud Gaming, and the HR Violations update already baked in. One $29.99 purchase covers console + Windows; Deluxe (~$39.99) adds a 100+ page digital artbook and four comics. The title has already cleared four million copies across PC, PlayStation, and Switch.

Why Xbox players waited

You play Robert Robertson III (Mecha Man) after his suit dies, forcing a desk job dispatching rehabilitated villains in modern LA. The Switch version shipped with notorious content cuts. Xbox gets the PS5/PC cut as intended — all episodes day one, LATAM Spanish / Turkish / Thai / Polish / Ukrainian localization in the same wave. Game Pass inclusion is still unconfirmed as of late July; plan to buy if you want guaranteed access.

Play Anywhere practicalities

Shared saves and achievements between Series hardware, the Xbox PC app, and supported handhelds mean one license, one progress bar. Cloud Gaming lets you stream without a full install — useful when Mistfall and Xenoblade are fighting for SSD space the same week.

“Dispatch arrives on Xbox with Play Anywhere and the uncensored full release — Game Pass remains unannounced.”
