Insomniac’s Wolverine gets a Marvel Tōkon suit after September 15 launch
The claws get the comic-panel filter next. Insomniac confirmed a two-way crossover with Arc System Works: Marvel’s Wolverine ships a free Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls-inspired suit unlockable through progression on day one (September 15, PS5), while Tōkon players get Wolverine’s Battle Reborn suit free on September 1 — two weeks of fighter drip before the single-player launch.
Why the crossover exists
Sony is positioning PS5 as the 2026 superhero console: Spider-Man 2 already dropped a free Tōkon suit for Brand New Day week, Tōkon launches August 6, then Wolverine inherits the wardrobe headline in September. Same silhouette, three products, one SEO cluster.
What “free” actually means
No microtransaction, no battle-pass tier — progression unlock in Wolverine, calendar drop in Tōkon. If you only buy one game, you still get a costume; if you buy both, you get mutual hype without paying twice for the drip.
