Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” is live — new story, agents, 42-day version window
New Eridu keeps the farewell arc moving. Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” began rolling July 29 (maintenance from 06:00 UTC+8, ~five hours) with Main Story Season 3 Chapter 2 permanently available after the patch, new agents, outfits (including Sigrid: Majestic Wavechaser), a stack of limited events, and Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel unlocking August 5.

Compensation and calendar
Eligible Inter-Knot Lv. 4+ players get Polychrome ×300 for the update and another ×300 issue-fix mail — claim windows stretch through late August / end of 3.1. The version itself runs 42 days, ending September 9 06:00 UTC+8. That is the live-ops clock; it is not the separate Xbox Game Pass in-game benefits rail that also waved July 29.
Why this is not the Game Pass story
Microsoft’s Wave 2 PC rewards were about linking Game Pass to anniversary bait. 3.1 is the actual content drop: story chapter, agents, events, gameplay modes. Search “ZZZ 3.1,” “The Long Goodbye,” and “ZZZ maintenance” — those queries want patch notes, not a Pass tile.
“Version 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” brings Season 3 Chapter 2, new agents and events, and runs through September 9, 2026.”
