AITX deploys autonomous security trailers for massive data center projects
The physical security of the world’s expanding AI infrastructure is getting an autonomous upgrade. Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions (AITX) announced a major deployment order on July 30 for its robotic security hardware at a multi-billion dollar data center construction site.
Solar-powered vigilance
The deployment centers on the RIO Mini (an autonomous, solar-powered security trailer) and the ROSA (Responsive Observation Security Agent) units. These devices use edge AI to perform persistent surveillance, trespass detection, and active deterrence without human intervention.
As data center construction scales to meet global AI demand, securing the sprawling, remote footprints of these sites has become a logistical nightmare. AITX’s hardware provides a 24/7, off-grid solution that is significantly cheaper and more reliable than traditional human patrols.
