CONTROL Resonant cast hits SDCC — September 24 launch, Dylan Faden takes the Oldest House

The Federal Bureau of Control has a new Director problem. CONTROL Resonant — Remedy’s sequel — is locked for September 24, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic), with GeForce NOW support and a later Mac follow-up. Pre-orders and a story trailer already put Dylan Faden at the center while Jesse is missing.

SDCC cast deep dive

Saturday’s Room 6BCF panel (July 25, 6:30–7:30 PT) brought Sean Durrie (Dylan), Courtney Hope (Jesse), Matthew Porretta (Dr. Darling), and Frankie Kevich (Zoe De Vera) for character talk and exclusive updates. The pitch: a new form of resonance joins the Hiss and Mold as Manhattan warps under a cosmic force — Dylan stepping into a role he was never prepared for.

Why September 24 is the appointment

Remedy calls Resonant its most expansive game to date. After Control’s cult footprint and Alan Wake 2’s prestige run, a September multiplat launch with day-one story clarity is the “play the Faden saga in order” moment for newcomers who only know Jesse from trailers.

“With his sister Jesse Faden missing, Dylan must step into a role he was never prepared for — humanity’s last line of defense.”

Sixty days out. The Oldest House is open for a new resonance. Parautilitarians, clear the calendar.
