Valorant Mobile: regional betas keep climbing — global day-one date still not locked

The agents are on phones — in the regions Riot chose first. Valorant Mobile’s China and Southeast Asia beta track remains the clearest public signal: touch HUDs, gyro aiming, high-refresh targets on modern devices, and Riot Account linking pitched for cosmetic continuity with PC. What is not clear in Western official channels: a locked global launch calendar day.

What the betas are proving

Riot is stress-testing whether a precision shooter survives thumbs without becoming a watered-down side mode. Regional feedback loops, anti-cheat mobile realities, and store compliance are the boring work that decides whether a worldwide day-one is Q3 marketing or a longer drip. Cross-progression skin expectations are part of the pitch whenever accounts link — treat specific unlock lists as beta-temporary until Riot publishes a global FAQ.

Ignore the fake calendar screenshots

Social posts naming a single worldwide date (including mid-August rumors) are not a substitute for a Riot Games newsroom post or regional publisher blog. Until that lands, the accurate headline is progress, not a ship date. PC Valorant players should also note Steam Frame’s separate anti-cheat wall — mobile is a different client fight entirely.

“Riot has shown Valorant Mobile through regional betas; a confirmed global launch day for all Western stores is still the missing press release.”
