Ultron gets a tower siege. At SDCC 2026, NetEase and Marvel Games locked Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Age of Ultron for July 30, 2026 (UTC): a PvE mode where the movie Avengers fight Ultron’s sentries after the virus breaches Avengers Tower and corrupts F.R.I.D.A.Y.
What ships next week
Unlike the earlier Avengers asymmetrical Loki PvP slice, Ultron is co-op PvE in the Blood Hunt / Zombies neighborhood: Avengers Tower and Ultron’s Data Space, re-recorded movie dialogue with Rivals voice talent, and new cinematics. SDCC attendees got an early look at the Tower map; a trailer puts Scarlet Witch in the sentry meat grinder.
The December shadow
Path to Doomsday still points at December 2026 content tied to Avengers: Doomsday — details TBA, Doom energy guaranteed given the film and Rivals’ long-running antagonist casting. Luna Snow costume and physical collectibles also rode the SDCC merch wave.
