EA Sports FC 27 locks September 25 — Mbappé & Bellingham cover, The Grounds hub
Football’s annual calendar just got a hard kickoff. Electronic Arts locked EA Sports FC 27 for a worldwide launch on September 25, 2026 — with Ultimate and Ultimate Plus early access from September 18 — and put Real Madrid stars Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham on the Ultimate Plus cover after the first gameplay reveal.
The Grounds, Career, and FUT Gallery
The headline mode is The Grounds: an open social hub expanding Clubs with kickabouts and hangout loops, pitched on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC (not the legacy console SKUs). Career Mode gets a TransferRoom-powered market with bidding wars and buy-back tools. Ultimate Team adds FUT Gallery — curated sets across clubs, leagues, and nations that level a club identity for rewards.
Editions and the early-bird clock
Ultimate Plus is a limited early-bird SKU through August 31 (not on Nintendo or Epic), bundling monthly FC Points drops, Premium Passes for Seasons 1–5, and up to seven days of early access. Standard, Ultimate, Lite (free Kick-Off preview at launch), and EA Play’s 10-hour trial from September 18 fill the rest of the funnel across PS5/PS4, Xbox Series/One, Switch, Switch 2, and PC.

Pre-orders are live. If you live in FUT, the August 31 Ultimate Plus cutoff is the first decision; if you live in Career, the transfer rebuild is the hook. Either way, September 25 is now the football appointment.
