Hell is Us hits Game Pass tomorrow — no hand-holding in Hadea

If Shift at Midnight is tonight’s scream queue, tomorrow’s Game Pass install is the bleak road trip. Hell is Us joins Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass on July 23 — Rogue Factor’s action-adventure about a nation shattered by civil war and cursed by something worse, with melee combat and a design philosophy that openly refuses to hold your hand.

What the pitch is

Xbox’s own blurb: ready your blade, follow your instincts, master brutal melee, unravel a dark mystery, explore on your own terms. “The game doesn’t hold your hand. It sets you free through true exploration and rich storytelling.” That is corporate-speak for expect to get lost, read the world, and earn the next breadcrumb — closer to immersive-sim adjacency than open-world checklist tourism.
