League of Legends “Classic Mode” turns back the clock to Season 3
Nostalgia just became a permanent feature in League of Legends. Riot Games launched “League Classic” alongside Patch 26.15 on July 30, allowing players to queue up for matches using the exact champions, items, and map layout from Season 3 (2013).
“We wanted to bring back the era of AP Master Yi, Deathfire Grasp, and the old Summoner’s Rift for players who missed the chaos of the early days.”
