PS Plus August: Big Walk day one, Dying Light 2 Reloaded, and Signalis from Aug 4

Sony’s August Essential slate is a three-genre buffet with a day-one headliner. From Tuesday, August 4 through Monday, August 31, PlayStation Plus members can claim Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition (PS5 / PS4), Big Walk (PS5), and Signalis (PS4) — confirmed on the PlayStation Blog by Adam Michel.

Big Walk is the appointment drop

Untitled Goose Game studio House House returns with Big Walk, a cooperative multiplayer adventure built around talking, tools, and hanging out in a wide-open world. Up to roughly a dozen players can pile in; the pitch swings from puzzle coordination to “steal your friend’s binoculars and kick them into the ocean.” Landing on Plus the same day it ships is the retention hook Sony wants after a quiet summer catalog stretch.

Parkour zombies and cosmic dread

Dying Light 2 Reloaded brings Aiden’s infected city with up to four-player co-op and the post-launch content stack Techland has piled on since launch. Signalis — rose-engine’s retrotech survival horror about Replika technician Elster — is the cult-classic deep cut for players who want Silent Hill DNA without a $70 sticker. Separately, Capcom’s PS2 classic Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams joins the Premium Classics Catalog on August 25, a month before Onimusha: Way of the Sword.

“Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis will all be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday August 4 until Monday August 31.”

— Adam Michel, PlayStation Blog — July 28, 2026

Claim July’s leftovers before Tuesday morning, then queue Big Walk with the group chat. August Essential is built for co-op nights and one very bad dream.
