PS Plus cull today: Risk of Rain 2 and 11 more leave Extra/Premium — grab or buy

If your PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium backlog still has unfinished runs, the clock is not theoretical. Twelve catalog titles leave today — July 21, 2026 — the same day Sony’s July Extra/Premium additions go live globally. Once they rotate out, downloaded copies stop launching unless you buy a permanent license.

Leaving July 21
The confirmed exits across regions: Risk of Rain 2; Tropico 6; Clash: Artifacts of Chaos; Röki; Source of Madness; Cursed to Golf; Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator; Get Even; Infinite Minigolf; Onee Chanbara Origin; Bomber Crew; and Space Crew: Legendary Edition. Risk of Rain 2 is the critical standout (~85 Metacritic) — if you only finish one before the lights cut, make it that one.
“Once a game leaves the catalog, access is fully revoked even if you downloaded it.”

What lands as they leave
July’s inbound Extra/Premium wave includes Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (already covered on SignalSpawn), Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, Dying Light, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, and Snow Bros. Wonderland — with Rise of the Ronin already early for some regions. The catalog never sits still; today’s job is triage, not mourning.
Some outlets flagged later date shifts for a subset of titles. Trust the “Last Chance to Play” rail on your own PS5/PS Plus app over third-party lists if anything looks wrong.
Saves stick around after removal. Buy later and you pick up where you left off — but the free window closes tonight. Prioritize Risk of Rain 2, then Tropico 6 if you still want a dictator run without paying El Presidente taxes.
