Game Pass cull: Celeste, Bannerlord, Crusader Kings 3 leave July 31 — claim or buy

July’s Game Pass revolving door just posted the second half of the leave list. Spotted via the Xbox app’s Leaving Soon rail and confirmed across Xbox press roundups: eight more games rotate out on July 31, 2026 — on top of the mid-month cull that already hit earlier in July.

Leaving July 31
The late-July exit wave: Back to the Dawn; Celeste; Crusader Kings 3; Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord; My Friendly Neighborhood; Rain World; Sniper Elite: Resistance; and Whiskerwood (PC). Several of those titles briefly flickered off earlier leave lists before returning — treat July 31 as the working deadline unless Microsoft rewrites the app again.
What to do before they vanish
If a title is mid-campaign, finish it or buy it while the leaving discount (typically 20%+) is live. Strategy fans should especially look at CK3 and Bannerlord — those are hundred-hour sandboxes, not weekend demos. Platform note: removals cover Console, PC, and Cloud where applicable; Whiskerwood is listed PC-only on the leave sheet.
July still has inbound Game Pass heat (Halo: Campaign Evolved early access energy, Mistfall Hunter, and more). Removals fund the conveyor. Your job is not to mourn the shelf — it is to decide which saves deserve a permanent license before the 31st.
