Batman: Caped Crusader — Chronicles hits Amazon Luna July 31 with Season 2

Gotham just got a same-day stack. Amazon Game Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive locked Batman: Caped Crusader — Chronicles for Amazon Luna on July 31, 2026 — the exact day Season 2 of the Bruce Timm–adjacent animated series lands on Prime Video. Prime members play at no extra cost; Luna subscribers are covered too.

What the game actually is

It is not a brawler. Chronicles is a cooperative crime-solving party game for one to four players: an 11-episode GCPD task-force loop with Detective Montoya, interrogation/investigation minigames, and Rogues Gallery pressure including Scarecrow, Dollmaker, Babyface, and the Joker. Smartphones are the controllers — no console download required.

Cast continuity and the Fire TV hook

Hamish Linklater (Batman) and Michelle C. Bonilla (Montoya) reprise their series roles; Matthew Needham voices the Joker in the game as well as Season 2.
