Meta Horizon+ now bundles Xbox Game Pass starter — 50+ games and 10 cloud hours

VR wallets just got a Game Pass footnote. On July 21, Xbox and Meta announced that eligible Meta Horizon+ subscribers now receive a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass where available — another on-ramp beside the existing Xbox / Game Pass access already living on Meta Quest hardware.

What “starter” actually includes
Xbox’s language: 50+ games, 10 hours of cloud gaming per month, and Rewards for playing. Named examples lean recognizable rather than day-one AAA exclusives — Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Overcooked 2, Grounded, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, SnowRunner. This is a discovery funnel into the wider Game Pass ecosystem, not a full Ultimate substitute.

Price context
Meta Horizon+ is listed at $59.99/year or $7.99/month. Availability is region-gated — “eligible” and “where available” are doing real work in the press copy. If you already pay for Ultimate, this is redundancy with a Quest-shaped bow. If you live in Horizon and were Game Pass-curious, it is the cheapest taste test Microsoft has handed Meta’s storefront.
Xbox announcement: Xbox and Meta — more ways to enjoy Game Pass.
Cloud hours are finite. The library is curated. The partnership signal is the real headline: Game Pass keeps showing up wherever screens — and headsets — already have a subscription habit.
